Hundreds of concerned East Kootenay Residents are coming to pass on a collective message to the BC Government that we don't want Coalbed Methane.

As great as Fernie's Farewell BP Street Party was, attending this rally will have 10x more effect on the government.. so don't miss it!

A bus will be leaving Fernie at 5:00PM on Tuesday June 17th from the College of the Rockies with signs from the Farewell BP Street Party

Busses will also be leaving Invermere @ 4:00 from Hockey Arena and leaving Kimberley @ 5:30 from Platzl parking lot.

Today (April 21st) marks the close of the British Columbia Tenure Referral Process. After today the BC government will choose to grant BP rights for its 500 sq/km mist mountain CBM project.

We are planning on gather "en masse" at 5:00PM where we will create a forum atmosphere and demand answers to tough questions.

If BP refuses to participate in our forum we may have to break out the pickets which will be available to all.
